What the signup saves
Your email address, the date you joined, and the consent you gave are stored so Fabien can share the opening chapters and occasional writing updates. Your address is not displayed publicly.
The opening chapters
When an excerpt is available, you can download it after signing up. A short-lived, essential cookie grants download access for one hour. When welcome emails are enabled, your email contains a personal download link valid for seven days.
Leaving the list
Use the personal subscription link shown after your first signup, or the unsubscribe link included in an update, to remove your address from the active list. You can also contact hello@fabiencordero.com about your subscription.
Reader feedback
Votes, comments, and their dates on Publishing journey posts are public. No email address is required. Please do not include personal information. A random identifier is saved in your browser, and its hash is stored with your response to limit duplicate votes. Fabien can remove comments or close feedback. Contact hello@fabiencordero.com about a comment you would like removed.
Storage and basic protection
The website stores reader information and protected files in its WordPress database hosted by STRATO. During local testing, these remain on the local computer. A daily hashed network identifier limits repeated signup attempts; it is retained briefly for abuse prevention. This site adds no advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
