Your email, your choice.
The reader list is maintained by Fabien Cordero for SIKA and The Golden Thread Series.
What the signup saves
Information you submit through the signup form goes to EmailOctopus to manage your subscription and reader emails. Your address is not displayed publicly.
The opening chapters
Use the download link provided in your reader email. Older personal download links remain valid until they expire and use an essential cookie to grant access for one hour.
Leaving the list
Use the unsubscribe link in your EmailOctopus email to leave that list. Older WordPress subscriptions are stored separately; use an older email's unsubscribe link or reply to ask Fabien about your subscription. You can also reply to your welcome email or an update about your subscription.
Reader feedback
Votes, comments, and their dates on Publishing journey posts are public. No email address is required. Please do not include personal information. A random identifier is saved in your browser, and its hash is stored with your response to limit duplicate votes. Fabien can remove comments or close feedback. To request removal of a comment, reply to a reader-list email with a link to the post.
Storage and basic protection
The live website stores its content, reader feedback, and older subscription records in WordPress hosted by STRATO. New subscriptions through the embedded form are managed by EmailOctopus. The form also uses Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. Loading these services sends technical information such as your IP address and browser details to their providers.
